The model code says it's a D-16, but this is from before Martin's rush to CNC technology changed its 16 Series models forever. This D-16 H is more like a D-18, but with forward-shifted scalloped bracing. It has the standard dovetail neck joint. It sounds a lot like the D-18V models that followed a few years later. This example has light wear, and of course the original satin lacquer finish has been rubbed out a bit. The center seam in the top opened slightly just behind the bridge and has been glued and cleated. Everything else is original, only light finish wear and very little fret wear.
