"GM" mdoel code suffix stands for "Grand Marquis" and at first glance, this Custom Shop Martin looks like a HD-28V with cosmetic changes to the neck and binding, plus gold tuners with an engraved M on each button. The faux tortoiseshell binding is nice, as is the herringbone rosette. None of Martin's "Guitars of the Month" Custom Shop models sold in big numbers twenty-five years ago, only 120 of these GM models were sold. This is a one-owner guitar in near-perfect condition.
