It's easy to forget, especially if you weren't there, that a lot of folk guitars were strung with nylon strings forty years ago. Although Martin's steel string models get all the press these days, back when this 00-18C model was made their nylon string models got their own page in the catalog and represented a significant percentage of Martin sales. This one has some finish wear but no cracks, and it's original throughout. The blue Martin case it was shipped in has also survived in excellent condition.
