This is a great sounding "student model" classical made in Spain. The tinted finish on the top makes it look like cedar, but the underside looks like spruce. The back and sides are solid mahogany. Good neck angle, straight neck with nice thick ebony fingerboard. Some fingerwear to the top as shown, with some deeper dings along the lower edge. Alhambra guitars was founded in Spain in 1965 and the company is still making a full range of classical and flamenco guitars for the North American market. This model number is no longer listed, and their website states that most of the lower-priced guitar models are made with laminated sides and back. This example was made with true Spanish guitar construction and has that robust Spanish sound and definitely has a '60s/'70s Spanish student model guitar appearance and overall vibe.
