A very solid Martin 12-string at a quite reasonable price. No cracks anywhere, has had a professional neck reset and refret so string action is excellent with a nice tall saddle. Pickguard has been replaced with the correct size and shape 'guard from Martin. Bridge has been reglued. Finish does show some wear, especially on the lower (treble) side, and there's the usual short buttons/jean rivets dents to the lacquer on the back. We're not sure about the finish on the back and sides, as the surface has a fine crazing pattern with a bit of texture. Thin overspray? Maybe, but if so it was a very long time ago as the finish wear happened after that. It's actually kind of a nice patina to the surface and the mahogany stain is definitely original so there's been no stripping or sanding, that's for sure. The original blue Martin case is one of the best preserved examples we've seen, all the latches and hinges are fine and the guitar fits perfectly.
