Please note that the bridge cover, trem arm, springs and spring cover are in the case (see photo 25). The cover has a chipped corner, those are brittle so we didn't want to risk somebody catching it on their shirt. Clearly a Fender case but the case is later than the guitar. The body has been refinished, the back of the neck was refinished and the face of the headstock was oversprayed years ago. The high E String tuner has been replaced. If you look at photos 15 and 18 you'll see that the rosewood cap fingerboard is now thinner than standard. Pearl dots markers were added at some during refret. The pickguard has been replaced but is the proper style, but there have been extra screw holes added at some point. This is a great sounding, great playing early '60s Strat, barely over 7 1/4 lbs, with original pickups and pots and parts except for the changes mentioned above. The previous owner purchased it from Gruhn Guitars about a dozen years ago, but there are no receipts available.
