The Tweed Deluxe is one of the "Holy Grail" type amplifiers, embodying many of the most favored qualities players look for in mid-sized amps. Those qualities? "Low" volume overdrive that retains overtone and note clarity. This model has the "Mic" and "Instrument" channels (whereas as some have "Normal" and "Bright") who's volumes are somewhat interactive which provides additional tone control in order to achieve the desired amount of gain and tonal balance. The previous owner had the amp gone through by Val King, a well known amp technician and guru in the San Jose area, who made sure all components were voiced appropriately as well as converted the amp to a three-prong power cable. Additionally, it comes with a vinyl cover. While also having it's original Jensen P12Q speaker, this amp is a spectacular example of what a Tweed deluxe is supposed to look, sound, and feel like.
