Nice mid-1950s 000-18 that plays great thanks to a fairly recent neck reset and refret by Alan Perlman in SF. It delivers plenty of volume, and the nice balanced tone you expect from a mahogany 000. The finish is original, but shows a fair amount of wear especially to the back. Original Grover Sta-Tite tuners and the original pickguard, or should we say most of the pickguard is original. If look closely at photo 8, you'll notice that the faux tortoiseshell pattern on the pickguard is different at the tip, up near the fingerboard, than the pattern you see on the main body of the 'guard. That's because the tip of the original pickguard was apparently broken off and replaced with a similar piece of turtleoid but one that doesn't quite match. Also note the missing finish on the headstock, between the G string tuner and the B string tuner. Comes in a nice hardshell case but it's an import version that is lighter in weight than the typical North American case brands.
