This Epiphone Electar Century Hawaiian lap steel was made around 1949 and it still has its, original tuners, parts and finish. About the only issue worth mentioning is that there's some glue showing at a couple of spots where the binding shrunk from the edge of the top (you can see this in photo #8, opposite the tenth fret end on the treble side and the 12th fret end on the bass side, with a bit of the same issue showing at the waist on the bass side). The sunburst finish and heavy bridge/pickup cover, plus the cool position markers, make quite a post-war Epiphone fashion statement. Even the original hardshell case is in good shape.
