A very solid original National Style O, with no significant dents and the maple neck is pretty straight. Has been refretted, thankfully no cracks in the dyed hardwood fingerboard. Original tuners, original finish on the neck but of course most of it has been worn off, along with some of the nickel plating on the top of the body and coverplate, where a pickguard would be on most guitars. Neck angle is OK but not great so string action is also OK but not great, and can't really be much lower (action at 12-fret, measured from top of fret to underside of string, is 4/32" on the low E and 3/32" on the high E string). Note the jack in the lower side (photos 6, 7, and 8), which connects to a passive transducer mounted on the newish National Resophonic cone. We don't know the brand of pickup, and don't want to remove the coverplate and cone to answer that question because this National doesn't rattle! (and we want to keep it that way). An impressive original National with a great sound.
