This Bacon Style B started life as a tenor banjo in 1926 but a few years ago a previous owner had Larry Cohea make a very nice 5-string neck for it. The neck is made of nicely flamed maple with an ebony fretboard. The 11-inch shell is fitted with a lightweight low profile tone ring and a FiberSkyn head, which produces a clear, ringing tone with lots of projection. Overall, the cosmetic and structural condition is excellent. The frets are in great shape and have lots of like left in the, Includes a recent vintage hardshell case.
