If you love Martins but you also want a contemporary acoustic/electric flattop, here's a great example that doesn't cost a lot of money. Note that it's Martin's newer "Grand Performance" body shape, which is bigger and deeper than an OM (think Grand Auditorium but by Martin, not Taylor). This is the top of Martin's GP line, with rosewood back and sides, wood binding, and classy neck inlays. There are some scuffs to the finish on the back edge, some shirt-button impressions in the lacquer on the back and some dings to the top ( see photos 21-25). Not much fret wear however and an attractive guitar that's very playable. Fishman Aura pickup system with discreet controls in the side. Original hardshell case is in great condition but note the white marks on the lid (photo 26).
