Martin didn't make many mandolas, and most they did make in the flat-back style were mahogany while this higher model was made with lovely Brazilian rosewood. Style B shared the same binding and decorations as the Style 21 guitars, hence the herringbone soundhole rosette and back strip shown here. This has had some minor repairs (loose back braces and a hairline back crack)) but is remarkably original throughout, including the tuners, pickguard, bridge, and tailpiece with cover. You don't have to play fancy licks to enjoy the deep throaty tone. Original finish to both neck and body.
