The easiest summary of this Custom Shop Martin is that it's very much like a 5-21 but with a pearl soundhole rosette. The back and sides are Morado, which is often called Bolivian rosewood and delivers that rosewood tone. The wood binding is East Indian rosewood. The top is Carpathian spruce, one of the highly coveted European spruces that's often compared to Adirondack. This is a terz guitar, a Martin design that dates back to the 1840s, but you can use it tuned a third high or you can use heavier strings and tune it like a regular guitar.
