You'd be forgiven for thinking this was a Hummingbird from the early '60s, as the slight tarnish on the nickel-plated tuners and the mellowed lacquer finish with subtle sunburst on the top have that vibe. That impression continues when you play it, for both the neck shape and the sound are familiar and broken-in. But it's not a '60s Hummingbird, and while used is still less than two years old. Maybe the older-guitar sound can be attributed to the torrefied top, we're not sure but it was clearly Gibson's intent to capture that iconic Hummingbird sound and feel, and they nailed it. Description? How about: "used but just barely."
