Seattle-based Steve Andersen is better known for his archtop guitars, but years ago he built lots of mandolins. As with his guitars, Andersen mandolins are known for precise, balanced tone and lots of clarity. This oval hole A model has those qualities but with a more open tone than his f-hole models. Comes with two fitted bridges, currently set up with a rosewood bridge but the original ebony bridge is in the case. And speaking of cases, it comes with a rectangular Cedar Creek with inner plush "lap blanket" and a cordura Small Dog case cover as well. Don't let the lack of fancy inlays and the F-model body curl fool you, this is a high-grade individual-luthier mandolin.
